Come visit us...

The museum, founded in 1989 by the Helena Township Historical Society, resides in a restored Pere Marquette train station built in 1908.

Located on beautiful Torch Lake, the museum takes visitors back into small town America as well as provides a peek into Helena Townhip history.

Displays are rotated semi-annually emphasizing lumbering, boating, railroading, farming, family living and the military.

An annual model train show is presented mid-August through Labor Day.

The museum is set in a beautiful park perfect for relaxing in the picnic area, or taking advantage of the park's crystal clear beach. A playground for the children is equipped with swings and a slide. It's a place that the whole family can enjoy!
