Janis Schilling is a watercolor and oil painter residing in Hudson Ohio.
She is originally from Michigan and is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a major in art. Janis began her career with a love for the northern Michigan woods and desire to paint in watercolor. This love for art has been exyended to others through her career as an art teacher. She completed her graduate work at West Virginia University, receiving a Masters of Art with a major in painting. Janis also a signature member of the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society.
Janis now works as a full time painter out of her studio in Ohio. She continues to show her work in galleries and art shows throughout the country. She does commercial design work along with producing her own note cards and limited edition prints, signed and numbered.
