Saturday, September 18th The Alden Men's Club will host their annual Harvest Dinner and Live Auction at 6:00 at the Helena Township Community Center located at 8751 Helena Road in Alden. Tickets and can be purchased in advance by calling Bill Bockstaller at 231-377-6216. Take out is also available by calling in advance.

Alden Men’s Club “team effort” pays off in a big way.

Three hundred people attended the Annual Alden Men's Club Harvest Dinner on Saturday evening, where they enjoyed a superb dinner prepared by local chef Bob Morrison and his family. The dinner along with a 50/50 Raffle and Silent Auction resulted in a grand total of over six thousand dollars being raised. Club president Larry Mitchell thanked all members of the organization for their “team effort” in making this event a success.
These funds will be used locally to benefit organizations such as the Rapid City Food Pantry, Antrim County Animal Shelter, Toys for Tots in Alden and Rapid City, Christmas food baskets, Boy Scout Troop 23, Rapid City PTA,Alden United Methodist Church, Sacred Heart Church in Elk Rapids, LUV PACS,Vacation Bible School,Kalkaska and Antrim County Human Services, art classes for area children and donations to those in need.
